25 Cheap Places to Visit in April for Great Weather in 2026

One photo and some text can only show you so much so I recently started making videos of my most popular articles including this one. Below is a video with highlights of the best places to visit in March and April.

April is an in-between month in the Americas except of course for the Tropics, where it’s hot all year round. This is an excellent time to head to the Caribbean, as the crowds are thinning and prices are coming down after winter.

The Caribbean

April can be a perfect month for a Caribbean vacation because the weather will still be dry and perfect, while the crowds will be smaller and hotel rates much lower than from Christmas through late March. April is also safely out of the hurricane season, so you can go anywhere you want without even considering the possibility of a storm.

Cancun, Mexico

Cancun remains one of the easiest and most affordable Caribbean beach destinations for travelers coming from the United States and Canada.
