How does the Go All Florida Pass work?

Like other Go Passes, this pass allows you to visit attractions and activities at a discounted price in comparison to the gate price that you would pay if you were to wait to pay until you were in line. What makes this pass different however, is that it’s more of a build it yourself pass that you can easily customize to fit which city/s and attractions you’ll be visiting along with the number and ages of the people within your family, party, or group. In fact, this pass covers a variety of attractions spread out within basically the entire state of Florida in Miami, the Florida Keys, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, International Drive, Tampa Bay and St. Petersburg. The only part of the state not covered is North Florida, which doesn’t have main attractions that are a popular visit compared to those in the middle of the state and down into The Keys. If you’re looking for an excuse to take a Florida road trip, you’ve now got one.

Here’s a closer look at how the pass works:

  • After scrolling through the attractions options available, you’ll choose which 2 or more to visit.
  • The next step will be selecting the amount of adults and the amount of children that you would like on the pass as well.
  • Lastly you’ll pay for your pass and then either print it out or use it directly from your smart phone.

Each pass is also good for a full 30 days from the first attraction that is visited. This means that instead of the pass being activated at the time of purchase, it is instead activated by the ticket master for the attraction that you’ve selected. Say you buy your pass but then decide to wait a month before using it, that’s completely fine and you won’t lose any of your attractions or time to visit each by waiting. With that said, you can only visit each attraction once and that you must purchase at least two attractions on each pass for it to work.

Adding a cherry on top is that this pass also works for children ages 3 to 12 as they can be added to each pass. When selecting the amount of people you’ll have in your party, you’ll find a section for adults along with a section for kids. Just simply type in the number of kids visiting as well and you’re all set! Kids under the age of 3 generally tend to get into area attractions and activities for free, making it so that adding them to the pass is unnecessary.

Busch Gardens 1-Day Ticket – $112.34

A trip to Florida is nothing without a trip to Busch Gardens. Famed for its rides, food, shops and shows, this attraction is a great choice for those who wish to go, go, go while staying in the same place. Here you’ll find wildlife as well to view and learn about, making this an educational experience as much as it is a fun one. This attraction is better suited to young adults or families.

Is the Go All Florida Pass a good deal? Here's the short answer

After reviewing the attraction prices and comparing them to the pass prices for each attraction and for various attraction bundles, we have come to the conclusion that this pass is very much a good deal for everyone involved, including children. Each pass will save you about 20% with the dollar amount changing depending on what attractions you put on your pass as well as the ages of the people on your pass. This savings can then be used for other things such as lodging, dining or a little shopping.

In addition, you’ll literally get to skip the ticket lines and hop straight up to the front of each, making it so that you’ll end up saving a nice amount of time as well. This is especially a good deal if you’re traveling with young children and the idea of waiting 30 minutes in line while inching forward sounds like the worse thing imaginable.

Will the Go All Florida Pass save you money?

Yes, it will. In fact, you’ll see a savings of roughly 20% per pass. This means that you’ll find yourself keeping 20% of your money in your pocket when you buy the pass compared to paying for each attraction individually at the attraction front gate.

How NOT to use a Go All Florida Pass

When looking through the available attractions, you’ll see that most of them are located in south Florida but there are a few that are up in the Orlando and International Drive area, which is located in central Florida. Because of the distance of the northern attractions from the ones located in south Florida it’s important to not only choose attractions that you most want to visit, but also attractions that make sense in your time frame. For example, if you’ve only got three days the last thing you want to do is pick 3 attractions in south Florida and then one up in Orlando. Even though you may be able to squeeze all of the attractions into your time frame, you’ll be rushed and most likely won’t get the chance to fully enjoy each one.

When using your pass, or holding on to it for a later date, it’s extremely important to remember that each pass is activated with the first attraction visited and then only good for the remaining attractions for 30 days. This means you do not want to visit one attraction and then wait a month to visit the others. If you were to do this, the pass would expire and you would not only lose your savings but also lose the chance to visit those attractions with the pass.

You also don’t want to purchase the pass and then forget about it or decide that you’ll use it next year instead. Each pass, from the date of purchase, is active for one full year. After that, the pass is rendered invalid and you’ll have to purchase a new one.
