Somewhat of a newcomer in the Caribbean tourism scene, Grenada only has about 30 hotels and resorts, almost all of which are concentrated in the southwest corner of the country. There are a few relatively cheap hotels, but overall this is one of the more expensive islands to sleep on, with several extremely posh and pricey retreats.

Even though this island is less touristy than most of the other Caribbean islands, there is still a change in prices during the different hotel seasons.
During the winter months, mid December to April, visitors will find that they are paying about 1/3 more than they would be paying if they visited during the summer months.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you wish to travel during any major holidays, you find not only higher hotel rates but more costly plane tickets.
Those who are more budget minded but are still seeking out great weather will find that their best bet is to visit during the months of May or June.
