Is the Go City Bangkok Pass 2024 worth it? We review value and prices here

Noted as the most popular city in Southeast Asia for tourists, Bangkok, Thailand is large and filled to the brim with great attractions. Because of this, you’ll find that Bangkok is where most people start a tour of the region. In addition, it’s the easiest place to visit for first timers to the region.

Although it did take a bit of time for attractions and sights to open back up, it appears everything is back to normal, or at least, pretty close to. However, it is important to note that a popular attraction, the King Power Mahanakhon Skywalk, is closed till the 5th of December, 2023. Every other attraction that’s covered with the pass is open and ready for visitors, with a few new additions as well.

Are all of the attractions covered with the Go City Bangkok Pass worth a visit

Because of all the great reviews each attraction receives, it’s safe to say that yes, the attractions are well worth your time. If you love food tours, dinner cruises, and more, you’ll find a few food based attractions. If enjoying time at a spa is more your thing, you’ll find some great spa day options as well. And of course, the adventurous will be delighted to browse through all the tours and theme parks to choose from. With all this said, you’ll want to focus on attractions that are more expensive at the gate in order to get the most bang for your buck.

How not to use the Go City Bangkok Pass

As you can see above, the Go City Bangkok Pass will save you money, but this is really only true if you use it correctly. What we mean by this is that you’ll want to be sure to choose attractions that have gate entry fees that are on the higher end of the cost bracket, instead of attractions that would be considered cheap outside of the pass. If you only choose cheap attractions, then you’ll save less money.

The bottom line

With the Go City Bangkok Pass, you’ll be able to visit 37 different area attractions with either a 2, 3, 4, or 5 day pass. As there are lots of different attractions and sights, as well as tours, to select from, you’ll be able to really diversify your trip. In addition, when traveling with a group or your family members, you should have much trouble finding attractions that please everyone. However, once again, we really want to emphasize that in order to save the most money, you’ll want to visit the higher costing attractions.
